Series Keeper.
Continuity audits & series bibles for series authors

Your book three already contradicts your book one.

Somewhere in your series there's a Tuesday that can't exist, a character who ages two years in one summer, or a scar that changed arms. Your sharpest readers will find it. We find it first.

MS. PAGE 187 — CHAPTER FOURTEEN
"By Saturday, the whole town knew."
— Chapter 12 ended on a Sunday. Chapter 13 covers one day. This Saturday is five days early — and the festival in Ch. 15 depends on it.
The catches that matter are the ones no re-read finds: they only appear when someone rebuilds your timeline, day by day, across the whole series. That's what we do.

The errors that survive every re-read

You can't proofread your way to continuity. These only surface when the whole series is cross-referenced as one world.

[TIMELINE]

Days that can't exist

We rebuild your story's calendar day by day, across every book. Weekends that arrive early, journeys that take negative time, seasons that skip — all visible only on the reconstructed timeline.

[CHARACTER]

People who quietly change

Ages that drift between books. Eyes that change colour. The limp that swaps legs. Backstory told two different ways, three books apart — where you'd never think to compare.

[WORLD]

A world that moves

Geography that rearranges, travel times that don't reconcile, rules of your world honoured in book one and broken in book four. The stuff your forum threads will be about.

Verified catches only. No false alarms.

Our pipeline surfaces candidate errors; a human who understands story confirms every single one against your actual text before it reaches your report — with chapter references, so you can check our work. If it might be a deliberate choice, we say so and ask, we don't "correct" it.

How we work — and how your manuscript is handled

Series Keeper is an author-built, AI-assisted pipeline: software surfaces candidates, a human verifies every finding, and nothing in your manuscript is ever auto-changed. Your manuscript is confidential — never shared with anyone outside Series Keeper, never published, processed with AI model-training disabled, and deleted on request. Happy to answer any question about the process before you send a word.

Start small. Keep going.

Fixed prices, no hourly surprises. Most authors start with the Spot Check — because seeing three real catches from your own manuscript beats any sales pitch we could write.

The Spot Check

$49 AUD any three chapters (up to 10k words), 3 business days
  • Continuity and consistency audit of three chapters you choose — later books welcome; that's where cross-book catches live
  • A findings sample: real, verified catches from your own text
  • An honest read on what a full audit would likely surface

Fully credited toward a Series Health Check if you continue. If we find nothing worth fixing, we'll tell you that too — it happens, and it's worth knowing.

Then we keep it. Returning clients send each new manuscript before publication and we check it against everything that came before — bible updated, timeline extended, contradictions caught while they're still cheap to fix. $395 per new book — because once we know your world, keeping it straight shouldn't cost what learning it did. That's the "Keeper" part.
Already finished a trilogy — or more? The Full Series Onboard checks 3 books as one continuous world — every cross-book contradiction, one master timeline, one complete bible. $1,450 AUD (vs $1,785 book-by-book), plus $395 per additional back-catalogue book beyond three. Then $395 per new book from there.

Built by an author, on real books

This service wasn't designed in a boardroom. It was built keeping a middle-grade series straight — three books, one shared summer timeline, a cast of over a dozen characters, and readers aged nine to thirteen, who miss absolutely nothing.

Keeping that world consistent demanded a system: versioned series bibles, day-by-day timeline reconstruction, multi-pass audits, continuity checks before every chapter locked. The pipeline logs dozens of catches per book — including ones that survived two years of author re-reads.

If it can satisfy ten-year-olds who read a book four times, it can handle your readers. The Series Health Check is that exact system, pointed at your manuscript — whether you write middle-grade, romance, LitRPG, or a fantasy saga on book seven.

How the Health Check works

The Spot Check runs the same pipeline on your three chapters — 3 business days, findings report plus the first page of your bible. The full Health Check looks like this:

DAY 0

Send your manuscript

Word doc or PDF, plus any notes you already keep. Messy is fine — messy is the point.

DAYS 1–8

We run the pipeline, then verify by hand

Timeline reconstruction, cross-book checks, bible build. Every candidate catch is confirmed by a human against your text before it's reported.

DAY 10

You get the report and the bible

A prioritised findings report with chapter references, and a series bible that makes your next book easier than your last. Walkthrough call included if you'd like one.

Start with a Spot Check

Tell us about your series. We reply within one business day — with a straight answer, not a sales sequence.
